Economics Doctoral Student Receives Prestigious Award
Mr. Kazi Ahmed was selected by the Scientific Review Panel of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings to participate in the Fourth Meeting of the Winners of the Bank of Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel this past August in Lindau Germany. Only the 380 most qualified Young Economists are accepted to contribute to and share the scientific excellence of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. Outstanding "Rookie" Student Teacher of the Year
Kazi Ahmed has also been named the Outstanding Student Teacher of the Year. He has taught introductory microeconomics and macroeconomics courses in our Department. Congratulations Kazi!
